Thanks for the inspiration! I have 2 of my own and made 3 for Christmas wrapping -- all from material around the house. The recipients were excited about it! I hope to make more as I need more...and for future wrappings.

I've finished five bags to send to my best friend in Louisiana.  This is the first batch of several that I need to do for my friends and family.

They are from my own pattern and fold up for easy storage.  There is a free tutorial on it here: http://yarngeek.wordpress.com/2009/12/29/tutorial-folding-grocery-tote/.

I made 7 more, but gave 2 away before I could snag a picture of them. 5 full size and 2 more half size.

Okay, I made 15 bags!! So enter me in the contest. These are going to friends and family for gifts...maybe one for me.

Sorry about the teeny pictures - they were a lot bigger on my computer! I don't know what the hosting site did to them... If you want bigger photos just email.

There are 2 in the first photo, five in the second, and 8 in the last photo - when I got going assembly style I could crank them out pretty well.

My last three bags, had a hard time posting such a newbie. Now I've done 15. Can't wait to make more.
