    Child-Drawn Monster Friends
    on: December 12, 2009, 09:49:00 AM
I decided to go completely crazy this Christmas and make all of my students a gift instead of giving books like I usually do.  After humming and hawing for a bit and waiting way too long to begin (why, oh why, do I start these projects at the last minute?) I finally decided to make them all monster pencil-toppers based on their own drawings.  I'm only half done but am really excited about the way the turned out and wanted to share!

This year I got my granddaughters to do the same thing - draw friendly monsters for me to make softies from. They are called The Grands and I am making them probably to sell. The girls named them and gave them a birthdate.

Sewlynnie that sounds fun!  I love the idea of them having a name and birthdate too - very cute!
