Anyone have Red Letter Day?? I have question...

I just purchased a FQ set of Red letter Day in Feather (off Etsy) and have a question for anyone who may have these at home...is the background of these designs white or gray? I thought it was white from all the pictures I've seen and I have the fabrics in Pond and they are so bright and vibrant, but this new package I just received is not at all like that and doesn't even coordinate well.

Hoping someone can help me, these fabrics look so dingy, I'm thinking something is wrong with them!

Thank you!! I had no idea they had the grey tone to them...unfortunately they do not coordinate well with the POND collection and I was hoping to add a few of the patterns to a quilt i'm currently making. Off to make a new plan...
