I'd love to be part of a sewing circle. I'm mostly interested in machine sewing, and I like to sew all kinds of things, including bags, garments and quilts.

I'm in the Omaha area and would love to meet other people interested in sewing/quilting and project-y type things! Smiley

I also live in Omaha and would love to get together with other gals to sew and work on projects. I'm still a beginner, but it's been awhile since I've sewed and I would love to get back into it.

There's a new store in Elkhorn called "Create."  http://www.inspireandcreate.com/

I'm teaching basic sewing classes there.  This month, on Feb 11 there's a class for a simple market bag.  I'm hoping to expand and do more classes like laptop cases, lunch bags & such.

We'd love for you to join us & please tell us the kinds of classes you would like to take!  Thanks!  Robin

This place looks cool. I'm going to have to check it out sometime. I don't think I'm too far from there. I would love to take a class, but my schedule is usually limited as I have a little one.

It sounds like you can just go, hangout and craft?  I'm really starting to get back into my craft and would love to go somewhere and meet new people.

            Thanks!

The place is awesome!  There's tons of space to spread out & craft away!  If you don't want to become a member then the studio can be rented for $3hr, $8 day max.

They also have lots of classes- jewelry, knitting, quilting & sewing.  The Create-a-thons on Friday nights are fun- from 6-midnight it's open to work away on any project for $10.

Well - I'll put a stake in the sand and offer to organize a sewing/craft group.  The best time that I like to sew/craft is on a sunday afternoon and yes with mimosas Smiley . I have room at my house or we can meet someplace neutral.  Let me know if there's interest and we can maybe meet somewher as an initial meet-n-greet.  Thoughts anyone?
