Is there anyone else in the London area that would want to start a sewing group?

        Hi!

I'm based in london, but only for a few more months as we are looking to move to leeds.  Would be super keen to do something before I move.

I'd be interested in meeting up in London. I'm based near Clapham - and Fabrics Galore, which is useful but dangerous.

Oh Fabrics Galore must be my favorite shop in london!  Such an amazing range of fabric.

What sore of sewing are you interested in Saffi?  I do  quiet a lot of quilting.  I tend to use the more modern American fabrics, with big blod colours.  I also dabble in dressmaking, but that tends to be in fits and starts!

I prefer dressmaking, though I still make far to many things that don't quite work. I've got a couple of things that are good enough to wear to work now, though.

I've never tried quilting. It always looks like the sort of thing that requires accuracy - and that's not my strong point!

There are a few of us in the Brixton area trying to get a patchwork/handsewing group together this spring. I should know more details next week.

Fabrics Galore - indeed, dangerous! :-)
