              What a beautiful quilt.  How did you apply the circles? I'm guessing heat and bond  (or similar product) and then stitching close to the edge.  Great job on the hand quilting.

                Totally love this. The colors the random placement, the hand quilting, the little details, all of it!

                Hugs on your hubs being away. I grew up Navy. I really can't imagine from a mom's point of view what it would be like.

                      Thanks everyone.

                      I used steam-a-seam to apply the circles, then sewed around the edges.

                      It was a bunch of fun to make.

                          One more thought- this quilt has such
                          a contemporary feel-oh it needs to be
                          out there so people can have it in
                          their homes. You are truly a designer!
                          It reminds me of the planets and all
                          that cool 50's and 60's type space
                          inspired design!!
                          Love it- and my taste is usually
                          French Country!
