Orange county Sewers?

I am in the irvine area of orange county and would love to chat with other sewers in my area if anyone is interested.

Do you guys know about the Southern Cal Quilters run, this weekend and next?

Now I'm not a quilter, though I do love some quilting fabric and am always looking for "real" ways to use it.  I wandered into my nearest quilt shop on Friday and discovered this event.

Very fun.  You get a bingo type of sheet, addresses of all So Cal shops.  Each shop has a unique charm and a quilt square pattern they give you.  A lot of people in the store, very fun. 

I will hit some more stores today.
