Russellville Arkansas?

I swear I'm alone here!  Any other quilters/sewers/embroiderers here?

hi there!  I just joined this forum 2 min ago literally. I am not from Russellville, but I am from Batesville, AR.  I just moved to TN about one year ago and became a housewife after working in sales for a staffing co. of which you have probably heard of in your area.  Its good to see others that are closer to my home which i am 9 hours away from now.  I have only been sewing for a few months and found that is great therapy if I will let myself enjoy it and not stress.  I am first challenging purses and just discovered the world of fabric.  This is something I thought I never dreamed of getting into (sewing).  I am excited to be a part of this forum and not sure how to use it but I guess this is a start.  If you have any tips on using this site, patterns and how you began sewing I would love to hear it!!! GO HOGS!!!!!!!! I live in a house of vols fans and glad to talk with an arkansan!!! hope to hear from you!

I moved down here from Missouri, where there are lots of quilt shops and sewing machine dealers.... not so much in Central AR!

I started quilting because my hubby wanted to learn (only he never did, but he did buy a nice Bernina) and someone needed to use that machine!

I'm completely self taught, as I started to quilt about 6 years ago, and shortly after I began we went fulltime in our RV for 4 years... now that we're in a home again I just keep sewing and learning!

It's very fun and theraputic!

I'm not in Russelville, but I am in van Buren!  Its a few hours away I believe.  My husband and I go though there every once in a while for What-A-burger though

Have you tried CJ's Butcher Boy burgers?  They are fantastic!
