I've seen postings here for PA but I think those are a little too far for me to travel on a regular basis. Anyone in the South Jersey area interested in starting a sewing circle?

Sorry to jump in with a somewhat unrelated post, but my family is in the Vineland and Washington Twp. area and we come out to visit every summer for a few weeks- Any great fabric shops in the area I should check out?  The Pin Cushion in Vineland was fun for treasure hunting... Any others?

I haven't lived here long enough to have discovered many places, but I did stumble across J & O Fabrics in Pennsauken a few months back. However, it might be a little far from your relatives and they do have a great website where you can order anything they offer without having to make the trip. It's a fun place to browse for their wide variety of novelty fabrics. Another place that caught my eye but I have yet to visit is the Mullica Hill Quilt Company in Mullica Hill. Again, might be a little far for you but the area's a quaint area with lots of antique shops to browse through so perhaps you could make a day of it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Krafty Kraut, where in southern NJ are you?  I'm in Pennsauken, about five minutes from the J & O Fabrics mentioned.  I finally stopped in there one day a month or so ago and wasn't impressed.  They have tons of novelties, but don't try to find anything specific.  It's probably easier to order online.

If you haven't been into the Mullica Hill Quilt Company, it's worth the trip.  It's really a nice little shop to get lost in.  There is also the Little Shop on Kings Highway in Haddonfield too.

I don't head to Washington Twp or Vineland if I can help it though so I don't know what else is out that way.
