Vancouver & Lower Mainland, BC

Noticed that no one has started a Vancouver/Lower Mainland topic yet for sewing circles. I know there must be a few of you out there interested!

I'm in the Fraser Valley, but would be willing to commute to anywhere in the Lower Mainland once a month to meet with a sewing circle.

My skill level is novice - intermediate. I have mostly made accessories - bags, purses etc and I am currently tackling a few baby-type accessories for a shower I'm going to in a weeks time. I would love to try my hand at clothing and quilts. I'd really just be happy to meet people who share the same interests as me!

When I was down in the lower mainland, I found lots of sewing help with (from) the fabric stores. There were classes etc.
I am in the boundary OK country now and all my help/ideas
come from these online forums. They are all very helpful
and this one is great. I am Going to be working on the
smock from this forum. A great cover-up when you have kids.

I am also in the lower mainland and would love a creative circle. I am not a novice by any means, that being said I love helping. It gives me new ideas as well. I have and do make clothing., crafts of all sorts and quilt. I have also been known to remake a slide cover on a motor home.
