wrights side winder bobbin winder

has anyone ever used one of these? I bought one today b/c the bobbin winder on my machine (Brother project runway edition) broke off after my son pulled my sewing machine off the table
Anyway i can't get it to work and I read a review on walmart where someone said that brother plastic bobbins would work on this bobbin winder. Everything seems to be in the right place and threaded through properly but when I hit the start button nothing happens? It didn't really come with much for directions so im not sure if it just doesnt like my bobbins or I got a faulty machine?? Any advice? input?

I have one and it winds plastic bobbins for my Brother so maybe you just got a bad one?

I had one. My (at the time) four-year-old broke it about two days after I got it. I won't buy another one. It broke too easily.
