Posting Flickr (& other) Photos Here - a How-to

Hello. It took me forever to figure out how-to post a flickr photo onto the SMS forum. For anyone that is having trouble figuring it out - here's what you need to do:

1. Open Flickr
2. Choose a photo from your photo stream
3. Click on the ALL SIZES icon (fifth in from the left - located directly above your photo)
4. Mine opens in large - I normally then click on Medium just so I can see the photo on my screen
5. RIGHT CLICK on your photo
6. Left Click on properties (the bottom choice in the pop-up window)
7. Now, you have a location. Copy the location (I triple click to easily highlight the long address)
8. Use CTRL + C to copy the location
9. Click over to the SMS forum page where you hopefully already have a topic just waiting for your image
10. Use CTRL + V to paste the image location into your SMS forum post - between the img on and off info and - you're done!

To link a to this photo on other websites you can either:
And copy the info in option #2 which is  "Grab the photo's URL" 

Copy this info between the img boxes in your SMS post and it should work.

To copy photos from another site, such as your blog:
Go to your site's media page, find the URL- which is the photo's location, copy and paste in between the img boxes as above.

It's not too complicated and once you figure out what to paste where, you'll have no problem adding photos and everyone will appreciate it!

Why am I still having trouble posting my pictures?  I have just spent 2 hours following Beth's instructions but all I get is a little rectangular box with a red cross in it.  Is it just me? Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
p.s.  I have also tried scrolling down to 'Grab my photo's URL' but no luck either.

1) Copy the link at Flickr that starts with the http in the long narrow box as it tells you to do up above.
2) Then, come back here.
3) Look up above. See the small picture in the bottom second row with the red frame around it, the second one from the end?
4) Click on it.
5) It will look like this..... [ img ] [ /img ] but without all of the spaces between the brackets and the lettering.
6) What you have to do is to insert your link inbetween the two center brackets that are back to back brackets that look like this:   ]    [   but without the spaces inbetween them using the Control and the V key pressed down together.
7. So your link will look like this:  [ img ] your link to your image here [ /img ] but without the spaces before and after your link and inbetween the words and the brackets the way I just did it up.

Oceanpeg thank you! What helped from your above reply was saying that I should copy the address beginning with http I know it sounds really dumb now but I was copying the wrong address! so even though I was placing this between the two IMG brackets the computer wouldn't have been able to locate it.  In my defence though I have to say I knew little about computers two weeks ago when I began my blog and I have been winging it slightly but I am managing things okay.
