I have one of these machines and I am not very successful with it.  Getting ready to throw it out the window! Do you already own this machine? I don't know if this is just something that I just can't do or what!

Do you mean the Quilter's Choice Professional straight stitch sewing machine?  I have one and I love it! The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't do anything BUT straight sewing, so that's a problem for me, since I'm not a quilter, I'm a crafter...and sometimes I need a zigzag stitch, so then I have to lug out my old trusty Bernina.  Other than that, I love using the Quilter's pro...easy to use....only thing is that I sew on my dining table, so it's a bit of humbug to use the leg lever.  I make bags, so I love that it has the different levels of give on the presser foot for thicker projects....that's a big plus for me!  Play around with yours, experiment....it's a good machine!
