Sources for Kona/Moda Solid Fabric

    Sources for Kona/Moda Solid Fabric

    Hi-

I was wondering if anyone knows of a reliable source where I could buy a bolt of this type of fabric? I use a lot of white/cream and also light shades of blue and thought I might be able to get a better deal if I bought it by the bolt?

    Thanks!

Honestly, I would go to your local shop and ask if they would give you a discount on a bolt the next time they order.  My quilt shop automatically gives 10-20% off (I can't remember) if you "finish" a bolt with more than a couple yards on it which encourages people to buy it all rather than leave a yard or two.  I'm sure if you called around you would find a shop that might give you a discount if you buy a whole bolt, especially if it's a guaranteed sale for them.

I'm pretty sure that you can't buy wholesale unless you plan to resell fabric - I don't think you can buy wholesale if you are simply using it to make things.

Otherwise, try the discount fabric stores.  Hobby Lobby carries Kona.  Fabric.com often has 20% off and free shipping.  I'm sure there are more!
