My Favorite Sewing Tip

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but not to sewing. I learned from my mother and grandmother on a treadle machine in the 50's. I appreciate all the tips, especially the one about gathering.

It is hard to find time for fun sewing (vs. "duty" sewing)when you work full time and have a long commute, so when I am making any project, I tell myself that I and the project are surely worth at least 15 minutes a day. Therefore, I will set aside meal prep, bedtime, cleaning (ugh!), etc. and grant myself those precious 15 minutes every day to sew.

Rejoice with me! I will retire in 118 days!
