Anyone here from Nashville? I'm currently looking for a sewing class or group. I'm not new to a sewing machine, but I'm not advanced either. Would love to learn how to make my own clothes.
I heard Superstore in Madison closed, and the only other 2 I know of are the classes at Joann's and one in Berryhill which I've tried before and didn't care for all that much.
Just trying to see if there's more out there I don't know about.

Hi!  I'm from Clarksville.  I don't know a lot about Nashville, but if they have a Singer Sewing Machine store in your area, I think I've seen in the past that they offer classes.  We have, or at least had, one here, and I had thought about taking classes.  I may be checking that out anew, as I am wanting to try to start sewing a little for my grandchildren.

I live in Nashville! The Music City Modern Quilter's Guild just started up--I joined but haven't been to their meetings yet. That may be a place to start. Also there is a Bernina shop in Cool Springs (Bernina Sewing Machine Station, I believe) where you can get your machine repaired or serviced. I think they had classroom space. That's about half an hour drive from where I live in Nashville, but you just shoot straight down I-65 and it's not hard to find. :-) http://www.sewingmachinestation.com/
