    That looks great on you!

I finally actually finished a top....been having to do a lot of work on a test muslin lately!

    It's from Simplicity 3750.

Here are a couple things I made this month..
The first was made from a thrift store t-shirt
and the second was made using a tutorial from
        whimsy couture on etsy.

I also made some purses.. but I suppose you technically don't 'wear' those  Wink

Some great things everyone has made!  Happy to be a new member of such a talented group of people!

I made a wrap dress Butterick B5030. I used Legacy Studio Imperial Garden Ribbon Floral. I thought the directions on the pattern were very clear. I like the way it fits. I will make this dress again. I just wish I was as pretty as the model, but the dress came out just like pictured.

            Hi,
This is a great contest.  I've loved looking at what everyone has made.  These are two tops I've made.  Both are versions of Simplicity 4176.  It's an easy pattern, and the tops are perfect in the hot Arizona summer.

            Thanks!

Sorry about the bad picture quality.  My soon to be 9yo took the first picture for me.  XD

The second one I tried to do on my own so that the different colors and gathering showed a little better.

It started off as a market skirt from a free pattern I got from one of the sidebar adverts (sorry can't find the ad on the side bar now) on SMS.  Then along came the lining tutorial, and then I saw a steampunk fashion show with top skirt pulled up to show a little of the under skirts.... and things kind of kept morphing from there into what I am wearing now.    If I get better pictures I'll add them to this post.  Though that will have to wait for Dh.

When I saw this Alexander Henry "Camelia" fabric here on SMX, I fell in love with this fabric instantly. However, finding the right project for it proved tricky because of the large scale of the print. What you see here is the product of many design revisions, but I couldn’t be happier with the final result. It’s light and comfortable and fits like a dream.
