Do we need to make garments for ourselves or can they be for our children, etc?

I absolutely love Ottobre! I've been regularly stalking and posting to the flickr group you guys mentioned, it's a goldmine of inspiration for kids' clothes.

I made two sets of these dresses for my girls on Wednesday.  They are sooo cute!  These are from Ottobre Summer 3/09.  They're called the "Three Way Dress" because with the drawstring neck you can wear them without sleeves or interchange two different types of sleeve.  They were super easy and so cute!

I have a hard time finding clothes for my oldest daughter because she is so slender.  I made the width one size and the length another as I was tracing off the patterns.  Worked like a charm!

The fabric is printed seersucker from Joann.

                                Hello,

I am new here but this challenge caught my eye. So Here I am.
Sorry about my English but I am french.

So Here are my two contributions:
My very first piece for myself, a barcelona A-Line Skirt, I made with fabric I purchased here.

And a dress I made for my daughter following the pattern from a french book called intemporel pour enfants. Just a basic dress but I am beginner - I started last november.

I also bought the fabric here.
