why doesnt anybody see my creations??????

I am new here & have been posting what I make.............but there are no replies to only my posts!!!!!
am I doing something wrong??

Hi Priti, I am pretty new here and have seen a couple of your posts which have led me to your blog. I've read your blog and will continue to. About the no responses on your posts here I have a similar thing on another forum I'm on.
It's a very busy forum and sometimes it seems to me that whenever I post on a thread it just kills it! lol Anyways try not to take it personally. Its so cool you have comments on your blog already, It really is a good indicator that people are reading and not just reading but wanting to interact with you. On my blog I have just over 200 individual hits but still no comments and my only followers are personal friends of mine. I think it takes time to really break into this and to make connections. 

Alot of times people look but don't have time to comment on them all. I try to comment but sometimes just as I'm about to I "have " to take care of something else. Please don't take it personally.Some forums have alot of people but not alot of posters.

Personally, I don't tend to click through to go to another site.  I also tend to look more than I comment.

But I think you might get some comments if you posted a picture on this site, instead of a link to another page.  I like to think that people are honest about the links they post, but after I picked up a computer virus and lost everything on my PC... I don't tend to follow links.

But I went to your blog and you make lovely things!

I agree about the pictures. Folks like to see a picture with the post; it just makes it easier, and everyone likes easier right? You could post a picture or two in the post and add the link as well, then you'd have the best of both worlds

A friend of mine who owns several websites told me that she can view how many folks read a post-and the majority of the time it seems that the number of those who comment is low.

Lots of folks just feel intimidated when it comes to writing and posting! I like what someone else just posted and that is not to take it personally.

I think too, sometimes people just want to remain anonymous and/or are in a hurry. Also, some folks don't like to type-or may not type that fast!

I've been to your site and left a comment here I think.

I also know an advertising expert (who does multi million dollar accts.)said that if no one really pays that much attention to his clients' ads for 6 mos. , that is normal. I think his point was that it takes many prestentations for the average person to go ahead and buy or be moved to action!

I think I've heard with on line internet advertising sales pages and presentations-that the average amt. of times, one needs to see a sales page before they are moved to action is seven times!

Just keep going and doing!

There's alot of info and step by step instructions on how to post your photos from various sites, ie- flickr, your blog, etc...
