having trouble making a clutch!!

   So everything was going smoothly until I started attaching the lining to the bag. I put the right sides together (the side without the pockets of the lining was on the outside while the bag was in the inside with the interfacing side showing). I stitched the two together around the top and when I went to pull the bag through the bottom of the facing everything is facing the right way its just that the zipper is now inside of the seam and I can't figure out how to make that not happen.

   If anyone has had this problem before and knows how to fix it I will be grateful for your help!!

did you leave a hole in the lining so you could turn everything inside out?

yes i did. Its just when I did turn it the right way out the zipper is in between the lining and the outside. I figured out another way to where it comes out right, its just I followed the patterns instructions first and I still can't figure out where I went wrong.

The only thing I think you are doing wrong is the zipper sandwich,probably your zipper is facing the wrong way.Try the link given in my blog here.........the instructions are super easy to follow
