1 hour robe recycle for my daughter
    on: July 01, 2010, 08:09:18 AM
I just blogged about a robe I made for my 6 year old. I made it from a robe i bought for myself and never wore. It took an hour and was a fun activity to do with the kids.

Im working on another recycled clothing project and will post it in a couple of days. I had this beautiful skirt in a size 24W that I had never worn. I've lost a lot of weight and was thinking of taking it in for myself but then realized I had enough fabric to make two beautiful skirts for my daughters.

Check out sewsima.blogspot.com to see the robe and I'll let y'all know when the skirts are ready.

I should probably start taking more pictures as I'm working so I can make tutorials for you guys.

      ONE hour? Awesome!

I have an over sized night gown that I need to redo for my mother-I bought it in a large size and it was such a great deal I didn't want to return it!

Thanks for the inspiration-I really do mean that!

I have been putting this off thinking that it will take forever-but after seeing yours , I don't think it will.

Thank you and it turned out great-I love how sweet your daughter looks modeling it! She is a doll!
