Husqvarna Topaz 30

Hello to everyone, I am new to this forum and hope to be able to join in and share tips and everything sewing related.
I need help if anyone can give me advice on my Brand New out of the box Topaz 30.
In embroidery mode it does not recognise the hoop size selected, therefore just sits there looking pretty but not moving. The instructions for selecting the hoop are very simple and as long as the hoop is larger than the design it should allow you to choose.
The machine comes with 2 hoops 360mm x 200mm and 115mm x 115mm. I am trying to sew out one of the designs that comes with the machine 256mm x 182mm therefore I have selected the 360mm x 200mm hoop.
I must have tried 30times to get it to sew but just get the "incorrect hoop" message.
Does anyone have a clue or should it go back to the supplier ?

I don't think I'm being stupid I've had many other Husqvarna machines and found them all fairly easy to use.

Any help would be appreciated.
