denim question

I want to make a denim quit for my new baby boy due in Nov.
my plan to tie dye mickey mouse squares on light denim or white denim, and sew to different blue denim squares.
i just don't know which denim to order that would be cozy enuff

I've never ordered denim since the feel is so important. You might want to consider ordering some swatches of different denims before making your choice.
