How to stop a waistband on a satin skirt from slipping down

    How to stop a waistband on a satin skirt from slipping down

    Hello everyone,
    I am new here and desperately need some advice, I  made a satin skirt for my daughter with a simple elastic waist. The skirt constantly slips down to her thighs. how do I prevent this from happening especially when slippery fabric is being used.

      You could stitch something non-slick to the inside of the waistband, like twill-tape.
