Advice on sewing for big busted/long legged ladies?

I'm a beginner at sewing and desperately want to start making my own clothes since I am so hard to fit. But do I look for specific patterns for big busted or long legged ladies or do I alter any pattern I want to use?

I'm honestly in the dark here. Will this be easy or hard?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Most paterns are made for a few sizes,
for ex. I have a pattern that is size 8-18,
so I need to choose the right line to cut the
patern to fit me. For the bust I'll use the size
16, waist size 8 and hips size 12.
You will find instructions on sizing and how to make them
fit together included with the patern.
And as far as length goes you can adjust that however
    you want.
Hope this helps, there will probably be some trial and error, but if you keep trying it will get easier and easier.
Just remember to have fun with it too!
