Wedding dress?

My husbands coworker asked me to make her a wedding dress
for next year, she's not sure yet of what she wants, but she is a 20something yearold who works at a surfshop.
All I know so far is that she wants something short.
If you anyone has any pattern suggestions for me to show her I would appreciate it. Thanks.
(personally I've been looking through prom patterns but it all seems so outdated)

Sounds like you have lots of options.  Have her start bringing you pictures so you can see what she really likes (full skirt? fitted bodice? straps or strapless?).  Then when you start looking at patterns, she will have a better idea of what style she wants, because sometimes it is hard to see past the pics on the pattern package and see the real lines of the garment.  Sounds fun!

I spoke to her today and she has some pics to show me.
From there I can get a bit more of an idea.
