Crayon Roll-ups

    Crayon Roll-ups
    on: September 21, 2008, 01:41:52 PM
Just wondering if anyone has seen any great tutorials on those little crayon pouches that hold individual crayons?  It holds like 10-15 crayons but rolls up nice and small with a bow for traveling.   I've seen a few of them out and about and think it would be perfect for my 2 yr- old.  Thanks!

Thank you so much!  You are so helpful.  I just made one using Alexander Henry's apples and pears fabric with green ric-rac.  I really appreciate your help, that is a super tutorial!

This is a cute one at Nested.

I designed  a bag hat I make for all the kid gifts.  I call it the "Go Go art bag"  Someday I'll get a tute put together for it!   Wink sigh...

It is a combo of a crayon caddy and a tote bag.  I've been making them for a few years.

Oh, I also saw a cute pattern for sale on Etsy..lets see if I can find it...

Love that this one has a spot for paper too!

There's one in "Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts" by Joelle Hoverson....and a pattern that is sold on Pink Chalk Stuidio's website.  Hope this helps! Cheesy

I made these http://hornsofmarshalleat.blogspot.com/ (sorry I tried to put the photo in, but it must be too big) from an easy to follow tutorial here http://littlemunchkins.blogspot.com/2008/11/c-o-l-o-u-r-p-e-n-c-i-l-r-o-l-l-t-u-t-o.html I like that there is a flap that folds over the crayons/pencils so you ensure they don't fall out.
