Viking 3D Embroidery software

    Hi everyone,

    Is anyone familiar with Husqvarna Viking 3D Embroidery software? 

    I have a Viking D1,purchased in 2002 w/Customizing VIP software, which I can no longer use with my Vista operating system on computer.  Does anyone see any problems with purchasing 3D software (with all modules and dongle) from the original purchaser other than not being able to register w/Husqvarna??

      I still run the 3D software, and I have never registered it with HV. It shouldn't be a problem.  I still get software updates. 

      Go for it, much cheaper than the 5D that's coming out.
