    I've made so many of these headbands as I have 6 sisters & lots of neices! Everybody loves them. Its my favorite headband pattern of all of them.Thanks again!

      Thanks - how easy is this?!  And just as effective as the headbands that take me about an hour to do!!

                I know this is an old thread but I recently found this tutorial and being a beginner I tried making one today SO EASY!!!!

                However, when I made it 22" it was slightly too big for my head, as well as for the girls in my youth group. Did I do something wrong? Maybe use the wrong size hair band?Huh

                  A bit late in the game since the original post was last fall, but I think I will need to give this quick and easy looking headband a try.

                    Perhaps I turned over more as I sewed in the hair band--I think maybe a 1/2 inch and then another 1/2 inch on both sides to secure the hairband.  Do I not say that in the tutorial?  I'm so sorry. . . hmm.  I'll revisit it.

                      Not sure, maybe I didn't turn over enough. 22 inches was too loose for my HS girls and for me. Of course I like tight headbands and have found that 17-18 inches works for me. Or maybe I used larger hair band??? I would put more blame on me than on the turtorial.

                        I love this! I wear plain headbands all the time and my daughter is growing out bangs! Perfect! Can't wait to try.
