Sew Along for Japanese sewing patterns?

Sew Along for Japanese sewing patterns?
    on: September 11, 2010, 05:34:03 PM
I've got a few beautiful sewing books with girls children's clothing patterns but they are all in Japanese (one is called Girly Patterns and one by the designer Maki)-- anyone want to do a sew along with one of these patterns? I couldn't lead it at all! I need the sew along to learn from someone else. Any takers? I know there is a sewer on the Purl Bee who has cracked the code...

I know you posted this a while ago, but I would be interested if there was anything in there for little boys as well.

There are some really cute boy/unisex patterns in some Japanese books. I've also seen some that are purely boy patterns. If you are interested, I would look deeper into them since I know they are out there.

I love Japanese patterns. All are cute especially the patterns for children.
My niece always look amazing if she gonna used dress with their designs. So sweet to stare at it.

I would love to do a japanese sew along, the pattern being in japanese should not be much of a problem. What book do you have?
