Totes galore!

Hello!

So I've recently discovered a love, well, I think you could say it's more of an obession, for making totes! I can't get enough of them. I love playing with fabrics (Amy Butler fan), and seeing the end result.

I just wanted to share a few of my most recent projects!

I've just got hooked on totes too - this is my latest creation made from a skirt I found in my local charity (thrift) shop for £2 (that's about $4).

My Nanna was an amazing dress-maker in the 1950's - 1970's and I inherited her stash and have used some of her black/gold lurex for lining. I've made it without pockets so its reversible - great for the upcoming Christmas Party season - there's even enough left to make a second one for spare!  

I absolutely love totes!!  I got so excited when I saw this one!!!!  Makes me just want to sew and sew!!  Thanks!

I used the wasp bag - but altered it slightly to suit my fabrics and I'm really liking the two-tone effect so much so I've made another 3 this weekend!!! Arghhhhh

Oh They are all so pretty. Purse & tote making can become addictive!! I love making purses!

I actually made the pattern up on my own after reading several different tutorials and testing the sizes...there are quite a few fantastic tutorials online
