well first off, i'm new to the forum and i love what ya'll have going on here! but i am so frustrated. I have a singer futura ce250 and i am trying to emroider a pattern, the machine will run the pattern, but there are these little loops on the TOP of the pattern.

I have changed the needle to a heavier fabric needle 70/10
    i rethreaded (MANY TIMES)
i re threaded and rewound the bobbin
    i tightened/loosened the top thread tension ...

still little loops .... any ideas? I am fresh out!

I've had that problem with certain threads. For example, Coats & Clark won't work at all in my Janome 300. Do you get the loops with another spool? It might be just the one spool or it might be the brand.

Do you mean there are loops on top of the embroidery design?  Post a pic...  My local sewing shop gave me a free standing spool holder for emb thread...they said to always use it, and not the normal spool holder, when embroidering.

I am still learning on my machine but have been told that a lot of time the problems are also not the right stabilizers.

Just a thought, but are you sure you have the hoop put together correctly?  This makes a big difference.  Look at the pictures in your manual and make sure the hoop is put together properly...........maybe your top hoop is upsidedown, hope this solves your problem.

What type and how many stabilizers are you using?
