Boppy patterns

    Boppy patterns

My SIL is expecting twins in May (probably sooner) so I was thinking I'd like to make a boppy pillow for her for nursing or bottle feeding. So, has anyone made any?

I'm thinking to fill it with buckwheat or flax seeds. I don't need organic, but I would like to buy them in bulk.

I made one about 5 years ago using the McCall's 2824 pattern.  This pattern actually has pockets on the outside of it, which I found to be really useful while nursing.

I just stuffed mine with plain old fiberfil.  I used it for about a year and I didn't have trouble with it becoming flat from wear and washing like I've seen in store bought Boppy's.

Hi, this link tells you how you can buy a boppy pillow form for $12 that comes with a pattern to make your own slipcover.

I wish I had known about this before I went through three of these!

Please include me in FFF. Thank you (:

Here's a slipcover pattern for a boppy pillow if anyone's looking for one:
