Hi there,
please can someone help me - I have a Stitchmaster 266 and want to drop the feed dogs does anyone know how to?

Hi Klossie,
I moved your topic since I thought it falls in the Sewing Machine category better.
And as for your feed dogs, you might want to check the back-side of your free arm. Since I'm not familiar with your model, I don't know for sure, but it looks similar to my Janome. For my machine, you slide off the table as if to use the free-arm. Turn the machine around to the back-side. There might be a lever there that you slide to lower the feed dogs. The tricky part is when you want to raise them back up. For this you side the lever back to the previous position, then have to sew a few stitches before the feed dogs are engaged again.
