Anna Maria's Proper Attire Skirt?

    Has anyone made this?  I just got the pattern and some delicious velveteen to make it with.  The picture shows the skirt falling a few inches above the knee.  I planned to make the small and on me it would be a few inches below the knee.  I plan to shorten the pattern but was wondering if anyone had made it or has any insight/tips.  Thanks.
