June Tailor quilt basting spray

Has anyone used June Tailor quilt basting spray before? What do you think of it? Does it smell? Does it leave any residue? Do you have to wash it off right away? The warning label mentions dizziness and nausea, have you experienced any negative effects because of it? I usually try to avoid using chemical products and try to go natural/organic with my quilts, but I just HATE pin basting and am very tempted to give the spray a try. I'd really appreciate any tip or feedback you may have. Thanks a lot!

An experienced quilter advised me to never spray basting in your house. You need a well-ventilated area- she recommends a garage where you can lay out your quilt, spray it, leave it for a few minutes for the glue to "set", then bring it in to finish working with it.

you might try batting with fusible on both sides. you lay out your sandwich and iron it all together. it is a temporary bond and will be washed out. i still use a few pins but if i have a big quilt, i usually use it!

I hate the basting spray..I just pin baste.

They have a new tool to save your fingers during pin basting.

They also have the little guns that insert pastic 'tags' like clothing tags in to hold it together.  I would be curious to know if anyone used one of those....
