looking for a light weight sewing machine

    looking for a light weight sewing machine

    my mama loves sewing and the machine which we have at our home is a merritt sewing machine. it is too old. too heavy too. on feb 2011 she will be celebrating her 60th birthday and on this special day, I luv to present her a new machine which is medium weight this is in idea to work on a semi automatic machine. any suggestion please.

      I don't know what kind of machine she wants....but i have a brother project runway, its light and has lots of options. GL

        try the Janome gem series. Janome is well known for great stitch quality.

          You can't go wrong with a vintage Singer Featherweight.  They're fantastic workhorses and super portable.
