looking for a great shirt dress pattern

I've found a wonderful dress that I'd love to replicate (since I can't afford the $375 price tag on the original).  It's a vintage shirtdress, full skirt, buttons down to the waist and puff sleeves http://www.katespade.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10776255

I'm a new seamstress so piecing patterns together might not be a great choice- though I may not have any other options.

any suggestions?

Simplicity 4171 got good reviews at Pattern Reviewer.com.  The Simplicity Project Runway 2724 is nice too.  If you added the ruffles down the front I think vogue 1107 is close.
