what is kona cotton?

I'm sure someone else could give you a better answer, but Kona cotton is just a "brand" name as far as  know.  It's one company's version of good, quality quilting cotton in solid colors. You can get it online or at JoAnn's (at least at mine).Hope that helps!

There's over 200 colors which can best be seen on their color card. Every serious quilter needs one.
Most folks like them due to it's quality, durability and price. Personally, I like it because I can match a Kona color to whatever print I'm using and can depend on it for it's quality.

yes! i was looking at it and wondering if it would work for clothing? iha several patterns working with wovens, and the price was what appeals to me...as long as it holds up in a clothing application?

I've used it on a few items and it held up wonderfully.  Like a PP, I love the ability to 'match' to different prints!

I've used Kona cotton on many items of clothing and find it holds up great! Although the Amy Butler solids are just a tad softer so I prefer to use those.
