Notebook and pencil folder

    I've started making these as a gift for birthday parties my kids get invited to this year.  I figure they can work for boys and girls, just changing the fabric - although as my daughters get older, boys get harder to make gifts for.  Do you think these would be ok for 8 yr old boys?? (I have some cool camoflague fabric, and stuff with planes on etc)Huh
    What kind of handmade gifts do you give to school age kids?
