I think this falls under the category of announcement. . .

I think we need to be careful here. It may seem like a rip-off, but since we don't know what Heather Bailey's design contract includes, there is no way to know if this is legitimate or not.
A friend of mine mentioned that she just signed a fabric contract specifically because it stated that her designs might be sold and changed a tad for other venues. This means that they could take her original design, use it as is or change it up a little. It can then be mass printed and made into scrubs, pillows, bags, etc...
My friend is paid by the amount of yardage sold. If she wants to make a decent amount of $ for the hours she poured into her design, she wants as much purchased as possible.

This whole area of fabric design is a little complicated. I think there's still much to learn and with all the new collections, designers & manufactures, there's bound to be confusion!
