I made two personalized tee and skort sets

I didn't take a picture of either one!

My daughter had two birthday parties on Saturday and both girls have slightly unusual spelling names so I decided that personalized tees might be a nice way to go. Bought solid colored tees and shorts at Target. Cut out and fused names to shirts from coordinating bright print. Used stabilizer and zigzagged around one, okay. Ended up sealing the other with fabric paint, looked better but I don't know if it will be as durable. Hemmed a tube of same print fabric a few inches longer than the shorts, gathered it and then sewed it just under the waistband. Tried two different methods, neither of which was entirely satisfactory but they were cute. I think the best method might actually be to take the waistband off then sandwich the print in between the waistband and top of shorts and then sew through all layers.
