Travel sewing in LA

    Hi there!
    I am off to Venice Beach, LA next week & was hoping that someone out there might be able to:
    -  point me in the direction of some nice quilt shops, or interesting sewing places to visit in the LA area
    - give me some suggestions about hand sewing projects that I could take with me
