new machine retailers in chicago?

    new machine retailers in chicago?

    i'm looking to buy a new machine and i'm struggling to find retailers in my area. i know that i DON'T want a singer or husqvarna/viking but other than that i'm not sure what i want, so i was hoping to test drive a bunch. but other thn the local joann fabrics and one singer distributor, i can't seem to find any retailers in chicago that sell new machines. any recommendations on places to go?

      How far out into the suburbs are you willing to go? There is a great Bernina dealer in St. Charles: Sew Generously.

        I don't have a car, so I'm fairly limited to the city and the very near suburbs. But, my parents don't live too far from st charles so maybe ill go out there while visiting them one day. Thanks for that suggestion! Any others?
