Starting a sewing group or joining an existing sewing group

I live in Kittanning, PA and I am interested in starting a sewing group or joining an existing group.  What do invison this group to be like.  Support for sure.  A group we can call upon to help with fitting issues, one that can offer suggestion on completing the project with easier tips.  A goup that will encourage each other and build a friendship that would have fun shopping at fabric stores, having sew-a-thons.  Share experiences and patterns.  Is anyone out there in this area that has my same interest.  Would love to get involved with such a group or start a new group with some ladies of the same interest.
