      The reversible baby shoes are really popular amongst the moms, there is a free pattern here: http://www.maked.ca/tutorials.html
      They are really cute and relatively easy to sew, dont know if you sew? haha
      Other things are knitted/crocheted beanies/scarfs etc.
      You could do some cute aprons/potholders for mothers day (holiday themed goods). Hope that helps!! Smiley
