Where do you buy your fabric? (Any great online sites?)

Hi! I would love to hear from some of you regarding where you find fun fabrics at good prices. There is a shop in my town with adorable fabric... but it is so expensive! Any good tips on online stores with great deals? Thanks in advance!  Smiley

Of course, sew mama sew.  But, I also get stuff from Jcaroline, fabric.com, and Fabric Hound.

Obviously sewmamasew, but also I've ordered from Cia's Palette, jcaroline, Fabric Shack, Fat Quarter shop, reprodepot... that might be it.

I'm glad that you mentioned reprodepot.  I really love them, too.  I also wanted to say Hancocks of Paducah is great.

Anyone know of any in the UK. We are SO deprived of fabric here. The only decent place is John Lewis (a big department store ) which is pricey.
Thanks x

I just received my first order from http://equilter.com and am very pleased.  Each of the sites we've shared often have something that the others do not, so I find it's a very great idea to look through all of them when you have a specific project in mind.

joflo, I'm not sure about brick and mortar shops but there are probably several online shops based in the UK from which it may be less expensive for you to have items shipped. http://www.creative-fabrics.co.uk and http://www.u-handbag.com (a handbag supplies store that also has some fabric selections) are two I know of.

Hi. I'm new here and love the information I've found. I was wondering if anyone know if www.fatquartershop.com ever sends out coupons or runs a site wide sale? There are several fabs I want from there, but thought I'd ask before I pay full price and then find out sales are quite frequent.

TIA!

I've seen alot of their fabric go on sale, but you have to check back often.  I don't know of any coupons.

I buy all my fabric through hart's fabric and their website  hartsfabric.com! Its got a great selection of all different types of fabric. Every time I order through their store they are so helpful and it ships super quickly! I never have to wait around for it.

My favorite source is thousandsofbolts.com - great fabric at low prices, and really good service.

Does anyone have any good Canadian places to buy fabric? Preferably online. It seems to me that all of the designer fabrics that i just fall in love with tend to cost me a fortune to have shipped to me in Nova Scotia.  It is hindering my addiction to sewing Smiley

I like to get my fabric on Ebay (usually can find a better deal) or fabric row in Philadelphia...

To LeanneMac:  I also have trouble.  I think the best bet is Etsy but there's also Tonic Living, which I have ordered from and Designer Fabrics Online which I have not ordered from.
