Advice for sewist with unique and original quilt pattern.

Hi everyone. I'm hoping you can suggest some options for me, and I'm sure others, who are interested in getting a quilt pattern they have created out to the world. I'm not necessarily interested in selling it, but perhaps a fabric designer might like using it with their fabric, etc? I don't seem to be part of the in-crowd when it comes to contacts. I haven't quilted for a long time but certainly retain the skills to do superior work. The quilt I designed is in honor of a tiny family member (crib sized), has been constructed of primarily jelly roll fabrics from a fabulous (but out of print) contemporary quilt fabric line and was professionally machine quilted. I also used a unique binding method that adds character to the piece.

I have submitted it to two quilting magazines but they both do not acknowledge receipt of the photos and say to allow up to 90 days for consideration. Three months is a long time to sit on something!

I am most willing to construct the quilt using another fabric line in a very timely manner. I also will be happy to write a tutorial.

I blog mainly about home dec sewing so I'm a little reluctant to feature it on my blog knowing most of the readership doesn't necessarily quilt.

So....I'd love your input/suggestions! The name of the quilt is "L is for Lucy" and it's adorable!!

Thanks so much,

Ellen
