These New Place Mat Panels provide a unique dining table decor. You can use one panel as a Table Runner or a Place Mat for 2 for an intimate dining occasion. Based on the number of people and the size of your table you can add panels as needed. Each panel is 18 inches X 58 inches. The fabric is cotton and in a teal and sea green/blue print which is Scotchguarded then lined with a sea green/blue polished cotton. The panels are reversible and can be used alone or in combination with an overall tablecloth. These panels will show off the nice wood of your dining table.

Here is a set of table linens sewn, quilted and embroidered by me in a modern take on the arts and crafts style.  The Cobalt water pitcher was received in a trade as are the other mish mash of dishes I will use to set the table

          My entry for tablescape Contest

I have two grand children and have designed and created a halloween chair backer for them. I used my serger to do a quick box bag and then used grosgrain ribbon to finish the upper edge. It was very easy to serge the ribbon to the bag and then turn it over to make a finished edge. I then made templates out of paper for the wings and face. I used some cutting dies to make the eyes, nose and mouth. The wings extend over the edges of the bag and add a dimensional flavor to my project. I also used a large ric rac for embellishment. I hope you accept into the contest.

Autumn table setting for Tablescape contest

I was given a book of drapery fabric samples, each piece about one foot square. The colors coordinated nicely so I sewed them into a set of place mats. My regular kitchen dishes are in autumn colours. I added a ceramic bowl filled with pine cones to create a fall table setting.

            Here's a picture from above:

And here's a shot of all 4 place mats:
