I have never done napkins or place settings but I'm a big fan of table runners and center pieces. This table top I made with my mother-in-law and my sisters-in-law. Every month or so we all get together and make something, well this was before easter that we made these for the easter season. My mother-in-law is a fanatic about easter, it is more celebrated than Christmas. She does a crazy easter egg hunt that is more for the adults than the kids. We tear apart her house looking for them, she hides eggs in the flour bucket all the drawers behind pictures, in couch cushions, everywhere so she thought it would be fun to add a little more decoration to our homes on Easter.
I made the set out of Sunkissed by Sweetwater, love the fabric. The table run was a simple made up piece and the chickens are Melly and Me CLUCKY Chicken and Chicks Sewing Pattern. It was a tons of fun to make, turning some of the pieces right side out was probably the hardest part, but we had a good time together and my table looks a lot more festive around easter.
